Year 11 Contemporary Cuisine students have been very busy making scones and tray bakes in recent weeks. They invited along their family to a coffee morning on Friday 12 June 2015, where everyone enjoyed morning coffee.
Parents were also able to watch a presentation showing off a range of activities undertaken by the students throughout the year. This included seeing photographs of the skills they have developed in assessed practicals and work undertaken during a placement to the Templeton.
Contemporary Cuisine students also provided afternoon tea for a number of visitors from Ballyclare Day Centre AgeNI group. The Music Department provided a wide ranging programme of entertainment involving talented musicians and singers from our school and Health and Social Care students came along to assist on the day. Home Economics Department staff raised and donated £110 to assist this local community group. An excellent afternoon was had by all!
