Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition 2016

What an adventurous three days! Packed and ready for the Mourne Mountains, our Silver team set off with their SLR cameras to capture what nature has to offer. Our students wanted to select an aim that meant that they could give something back, something beautiful. A lot of their time was spent exploring areas such as: Blue Lough, Ben Crom Reservoir, Annalong Wood and Tollymore Forest. Students captured beautiful aspects all of wildlife, stills that will be used in an art exhibition next term. Overall, our incredible Silver team spent three days in the mountains, cooking, sleeping and exploring. I am incredibly proud of what they have achieved this year and I know that the rest of the committee feel the same way. Their contributions to the community and their school speaks volumes about their character. Congratulations!
