The Silver Duke of Edinburgh team have successfully completed their practice expedition in the Mourne Mountains. With some new faces joining the team and others returning to dust off the rust from their skills, everyone enjoyed the clear days but battled the cold evenings. All home safe and sound ready for their qualifying expedition in June.

Well done to Isabella Carmichael who was representing Ballyclare Secondary School at the Minor Schools Championship last Sunday in Dublin! Even though she didn't take home any medals on the day, it was a great experience for Isabella to swim at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin. She’s already looking forward to returning for the Seniors next year! Well done Isabella!

We are looking forward to an exciting event in the life of BSS on Tuesday 8th April! Our Year 12 football team are playing in the BDSSFA U16 Shield Final against RBAI at the Blanchflower Stadium. The match is due to kick off at 11am and arrangements have been made for all Year 12 pupils and BSS football teams to support at the final with sincere thanks to Scarletts Building materials supplier in Ballyclare and an anonymous donor. Good luck boys!
