BSS Horticulture and A Level Biology students recently enjoyed an excellent educational visit to CAFRE. The day explored a wide range of topics, including landscaping, slurry leakage management, floristry, glasshouse propagation, and hydroponics.
Students even embraced the muddy conditions to compare biodiversity in hedgerows, gaining valuable hands-on experience in ecological fieldwork. The packed programme kept everyone busy throughout the day and concluded with a well earned lunch that was thoroughly enjoyed.
Our thanks go to Toni and the CAFRE team for hosting such an informative and memorable visit.
