What an amazing year we have had! We held a few parties this week to thank all pupils who have been so committed to our department and given so much of their free time throughout the year to come to rehearsals and events. We really appreciate everything you have done, and we are very excited to see what we can achieve next year. See you all in September. From all in the Music Department x

Congratulations to one of our 9M pupils, Kyle Chivers, who has made the County Antrim squad for the SuperCup Northern Ireland, to be held this summer across the province. Good luck from your Ballyclare Secondary family.
A massive congratulations to William Currie, 10O, who took part in the UK Pipe Band Championships with Cullybackey Pipe Band. They were crowned grade 3B champions in the medley section. We wish them all the best for their competition this weekend and look forward to hearing how they get on!
Our overall class attendance winners for 2022-2023 had their timetables suspended this afternoon to enjoy some fun in the sun and have a pizza party to celebrate. Congratulations to 8A, 9M, 10M and 11P who loved every minute! It’s all to play for next year! (Unfortunately there are no photos of the pizzas as they were gone before our photographer got to the rooms!)

We welcomed our new Year 8 intake this afternoon with an induction session for the P7 pupils and their parents. Our fabulous Year 11 volunteers were the perfect hosts, guiding the pupils to their classrooms and having friendly chats to put the young people at ease. You were excellent ambassadors and we could not be more proud. Thank you.
Our Year 11s studying Home Economics held a very successful bun sale at break time today in aid of the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. Total raised to follow.
