The school rugby season kicked off on Wednesday as the U16 boys' team hosted Priory Integrated College in a Pollock Cup group match at Ballyclare Secondary School.

In a physical and competitive encounter, Ballyclare ran out convincing 40-0 winners in an excellent opening fixture of the season. A strong defensive performance limited Priory's attacking opportunities, while clinical finishing in attack ensured a comfortable victory.

Danny Smith was the standout performer, crossing for three tries, while Zac Minford added two tries and successfully converted five kicks. Zac Morrison also got on the scoresheet to complete an impressive team display. Well Done!
