Our Year 11 Construction class recently took part in a Construction Skills Bootcamp at CITB Northern Ireland, where they gained valuable hands-on experience across a range of construction trades. Throughout the programme, students developed practical skills in bricklaying, joinery, painting and decorating, and tiling while working alongside industry professionals. The bootcamp provided an excellent opportunity to explore career pathways within the construction sector, while building confidence and developing key technical skills. This experience offered a real insight into the construction industry and helped prepare students for future education, training and employment opportunities.
