On Thursday 28th November, Year 10 pupils from BSS along with other year 10 pupils from only 5 other schools across NI joined together in a special event at W5 titled ‘Build Your Career, a Future in Construction’. The pupils were welcomed by none other than Cool FM and got a flying tour of the opportunities that Construction in Northern Ireland has to offer before taking part in 4 workshops to experience first hand the broad variety of opportunities in the Construction Industry. These works shops included Farrans Construction , H&J Martin Limited , GBS Roofing Ltd and the Environment & Heritage Service. With over 170 different job roles, there is something for everyone.
