A-Level Results Day is almost upon us. Doors open for pupils at 9:00am on Thursday 15th August. Staff will be available for advice and support on the morning, but please take time to read the advice attached.

Congratulations to Oliver McIlwaine (Year 11) who was awarded a musical bursary from the Noah Donohoe Foundation. This award is for young aspiring musicians to help them to continue to pursue their passion for music. Oliver will be using the money to purchase his own equipment and help cover travel costs to play with the Grade 1 Pipe Band Scottish Power based in Glasgow.

Congratulations to Samuel Logan who was placed 3rd overall in the Adult Open C class in the Brian Bell Memorial Championship at Temple Motorcycle Club’s MX Park at Laurelbank. Well done Samuel!

We welcomed Stuart Christie, Greenpower Ambassador, to BSS where he presented the Kit Car team with their Trophies and Medals from the successful day at the Mid Ulster Heat of Greenpower F24 Kitcar. The team have their sights set firmly on the next race at Aintree in September.

We are pleased to announce that our school production for December 2024 will be ‘The Wizard of Oz’.

More information regarding auditions will be released in early September so all those interested (years 8-14) perhaps familiarise yourself with the story over the summer.

Do keep an eye out for further updates on ticket sales but for now save the date, 11th and 12th December.

We can't wait to start our journey to Oz!
