With Year 12, 13 and 14 mocks starting next week, we would like to share these parent/carer and pupil guides for navigating the exam season.

Do You Have a Unused Musical Instruments?

Football Success!

Congratulations to the Year 12 football team who defeated Regent House 1-0 in the Belfast Cup Quarter Final. Our goal was scored by Nathan Akanji. Congratulations to BSS who now progress to the semi final. Well done boys!

Year 8 Hockey Result

The Year 8 Hockey team travelled to Coleraine College to play their first game in NEBESSA league. The girls were slow to react from travelling and went 2-0 down in first quarter. A few changes and the girls started to play much better as a unit. The girls even enjoyed an ice-cream for the journey home!

Spring Concert

Save the date for our Annual Spring Concert which will be held Wednesday 20th March at 5.30pm. Tickets will be £5 for Adults and £3 per child and can be purchased on Parent Pay App. We look forward to seeing you there!

‘Battle of the Houses’

A big well done to our Year 14 BTEC Sport pupils who organised a ‘Battle of the Houses’ event where Year 8 and 9 pupils had an opportunity to win points for their school House. A great morning for all pupils. Massive congratulations to OLLAR who are champions in both the girls’ and boys’ fixtures!

Tesco Stronger Starts Award Winners!

We are delighted to let you know that our school came first in the Tesco Stronger Starts vote and has therefore been chosen by Tesco customers to receive a grant award of £1,500 towards our Ballyclare Secondary School Healthy Breakfast Club. Thank you to everyone who voted with their blue tokens!
