Our pupils in Years 11 and 12 received results this morning for the external exams they completed in November 2022. We had some excellent results, with many pupils receiving 'a' grades in one or more of their exams. The pupils should be so proud of the hard work they put in for these exams as it really did pay off. Photographed are some of our top performing students from Year 12. A special well done to Daniel Campbell, Keanu Gault, Jamie Houston, Lewis Martin, Katie Morrison, Leah Morrison, Reece O'Hara and Anna Robinson who all received only 'a' grades this morning.
The Lecture Theatre was filled with budding entrepreneurs on Tuesday 31st January as Young Enterprise came into school to work with some of our Year 10 pupils.
Students were involved in activities such as "Identify the business by their logo" and "The A-Z of Business".
In groups, they had to use beads to create bracelets for their target market and complete a poster advertisement. Many took on individual roles such as Marketing Manager and Managing Director.
Thank you to Eleanor from Young Enterprise for running the event and to all teachers who made it possible.
Young Enterprise will be back in school on Tuesday 7th February for all remaining Year 10 classes.
In assembly today three pupils were presented with certificates for completing ABRSM exams. Well done, we are very proud of your achievements.

Following a parental update from Mr Nicholl RE: Operation Encompass, we want to share this illustrative video that showcases the potential impact of domestic abuse / domestic violence on young people. Our safeguarding team are training behind the scenes to upskill themselves on carrying out Operation Encompass work. As our most recent letter states, Operation Encompass is a partnership between schools and the PSNI to best support young people who are victims of domestic abuse / domestic violence.
