Our Year 13 Parent/Carer consultation will take place on Thursday 10th February 2022. We have introduced a new virtual appointment and online booking system through School Cloud. This will allow you to book your own appointments with the specific teachers you wish to speak to. Appointments can be made from 12 Noon on Wednesday 19th January 2022 until Wednesday 9th February 2022 at 4pm.

We are delighted that we have been able to bring a virtual version of our Christmas Concert to you all. We would like to thank all the pupils for their hard work and dedication to the Music department and wish you all a merry Christmas and happy New Year.

We are delighted to announce that Year 10 pupils will return to face to face teaching on Monday 13th December and it is planned for Year 9 to return on Tuesday 14th December 2021. Please find below a letter from the Principal concerning these arrangements.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 safe levels of staffing cannot be maintained in our school and classes in Years 9 and 10 must now be closed to face to face teaching and move to remote learning. This is currently for Thursday 9th and Friday 10th December 2021 and all class will be able to access their learning remotely via Google Classroom.

Abbie McClean competed in the Future Chef competition at the Northern Regional College in Ballymena. She made an amazing Thai dish and the judges were very impressed with her flavours and knowledge of cooking and she was awarded runner up.

Naomi Barnes and Amy Turbett 11P took part at the schools heat of the competition and are to be congratulated on their fine achievement.

Congratulations to the U14 Hockey Squad who travelled to Markethill High School on Thursday 25th November to play in the 1st round of the U14 High School Cup winning 2-0. Goal scorers: Chloe Montgomery and Lois Reynolds. 

On Tuesday 30th November, Wednesday 1st December and Tuesday 2nd December the vaccination team nurses will be in school to carry out the nasal spray flu and COVID-19 vaccinations with pupils in Year 8-12.

Well done to the U16 Hockey Team who beat Parkhall in the first round of the High School’s Cup on Thursday. They meet Markethill High School in the Quarter Finals.
