Congratulations to BSS pupils Kira, Curtis and Renee on passing their Level 1 and Level 2 St John's Ambulance Cadet qualifications. A super skill to have. Well done!

Football Success for Charlie and Jonny

Congratulations to two of our Year 11 students, Charlie Bell and Jonny McKinty, who play for Greenisland U16’s. Their team won the South Belfast Youth League Premier League and the Premier Division Cup. Double League and Cup winners! They continue to contribute in our school and also in the community, Congratulations!

Jamie helps the Larne U14 Football Team win the National League Cup

Jamie Harpur, Year 10 at BSS, was part of the Larne U14 football team who defeated Crusaders 3-1 on Saturday 11th May 2024 to win the National League Cup in Dungannon. Congratulations Jamie!

Abigail Receives her Gold Duke of Edinburgh

Past pupil Abigail Halligan travelled to Buckingham Palace recently to receive her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award after many years of hard work and determination throughout the programme both at BSS and University . This is great to see and we love hearing about all of our participants who travel over to receive their prestigious gold award.

Luke Wins Round 3 at the Ulster Karting Club Championships

BSS Pupil, Luke Agnew (Year 10) won Round 3 at Nutt's Corner in the Junior X30 class within the Ulster Karting Club Championship. Congratulations!

Daniel as Monsieur Reyer in the International Tour of Phantom of the Opera

We celebrate with Daniel Kerr (a.k.a Daniel Rivers) on his recent success having been appointed to the cast of the International tour of Phantom of the Opera for the next 12 months. Daniel will play Monsieur Reyer and cover Monsieur Andre in this worldwide show.

Daniel was fully involved in Drama and Music within school, taking part in many productions bringing plenty to each role he played. We continue to wish him the very best in this next chapter of his life.

Alice and Amelia Represent NI at the Royal Windsor Horse Show

Alice Jones and Amelia Bannon have been selected to represent Northern Ireland at the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2024 with the Northern Ireland Pony Club Mounted Games Team.

They competed last week in front of King Charles and other senior Royals. An experience not to be forgotten!
