Following a very enjoyable and also successful week at the Ballyclare Music Festival, we had the pleasure of celebrating with all the award winners at a special assembly on Friday morning. The skill and determination of the pupils while not forgetting the support and investment of parents and staff testifies to the results achieved this year. Well Done to All!

On Wednesday in the Maths Department we celebrated World Maths Day. Some pupils were lucky enough to grab a treat on the way to lessons. Some of our Key Stage 3 pupils also took part on Mathletics online, completing activities against pupils from all over the globe.

Both the year 13 and year 14 class visited Parliament Buildings at Stormont as part of the Government and Politics course. They had a tour of the buildings, including the Assembly chamber and committee room before engaging in conversation with Steve Aiken (UUP) and John Blair (Alliance), both MLAs for South Antrim.

A good day out for the BSS under 12 rugby team coming away with 2 wins against Priory IC and Parkhall IC and a draw with Ashfield Boys High School and a narrow loss to Larne High School.
