We welcomed Stuart Christie, Greenpower Ambassador, to BSS where he presented the Kit Car team with their Trophies and Medals from the successful day at the Mid Ulster Heat of Greenpower F24 Kitcar. The team have their sights set firmly on the next race at Aintree in September.

We are pleased to announce that our school production for December 2024 will be ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
More information regarding auditions will be released in early September so all those interested (years 8-14) perhaps familiarise yourself with the story over the summer.
Do keep an eye out for further updates on ticket sales but for now save the date, 11th and 12th December.
We can't wait to start our journey to Oz!

As this school year closes, we offer our sincere thanks to Hannah, Jonas, Sarah and Adam ( Head Girl, Head Boy and deputies for 2023/24).
Following an impressive set of interviews, we are pleased to announce the Pupil Leadership Team for 2024/25. Head Girl: Anna Robinson, Head Boy: Jamie Houston and their respective Deputies: Connie Taylor and Lewis Clark.
They are joined by a team of Senior Prefects:
Erin Ashe, Holly Barr, Louisa Burgess, Peter Knuist, Noah Patterson, Sam Russell.
We look forward to working with them and the wider prefect team in the new academic year.

We are delighted to see the continued success of a past pupil, Harry Morrow, who has been awarded Bachelor of Science with Honours in Football Coaching and Business Management.

A number of BSS pupil musicians had the amazing opportunity to take part in an all day workshop run by the Royal Marine Band on Friday hosted by Ballyclare High School. It was a great experience not only to rehearse with the band but to hear about their day-to-day life as members of the Royal Marines and to take part in a concert with them in the afternoon.
The same Royal Marine Band were then playing at Armed Forces Day on Saturday at Loughshore Park in full dress uniform.
