FIRST CLASS FINISH

BSS Forget Fossil Kit Car Team return home conquering many challenges including winning the 2nd F24 Kit Car Heat at Aintree with the Team finishing 4th overall. The efficiency of the car was helped immensely by Dale McMullan at Wiggle Chain Reaction Cycles supplying outstanding custom fitted wheels to speed us along to victory. A superb team effort and an experience to remember. Thanks again to our Sponsors for their investment in our pupils.

'Racing is about to begin in sunny Aintree. The team are ready, the car is prepped and the tension is building!

POLE POSITION FOR KITCAR TEAM

Good luck to our Forget Fossil Kitcar team who are on their way to Liverpool to race in the Greenpower Educational Trust Aintree regional heat. We wish to thank Charles Hurst Van Centre for providing a van to transport the kitcar and also @woodsidelogisticgroup and Sam Hagan at Hagans Leisure for their ongoing valuable support in this project.

Orchestra!

Do you get instrumental lessons in or outside school? Come and join us at Orchestra on Tuesday afternoons from 3.00 - 4.00 in the music department. We have lots of fun learning pieces from different styles and genres of music.

Science Club

Science Club is starting back on Wednesday 20th September in room 178. This club will run every other Wednesday on Week 1. Come along for lots of fun experiments. All Year 8 pupils are very welcome to join us.

Dance Club

Dance Club will start back on Monday 25th September 3-3.50pm and will continue to take place on Week 2. Pupils are to meet outside girls PE changing area. Open to all year groups. Leggings are permitted for gymnastic components but BSS PE t-shirt must be worn. If you have any questions please speak to Mrs Reid.

Big Smiles On A Warm Day

Just a couple of photographs reflecting the smooth organisation of our whole school photograph of 1247 people. We look forward to seeing the perfect photograph provided by Tempest. A big thank you to the Tempest Team for all of their hard work in capturing our 2023-2024 pupils and staff.

ISAAC IS ‘WHEELIE’ FANTASTIC!

Isaac competed on the 1st-2nd September in the Irish National and Ulster Youth Road Championships.

The races took place in Killea Co. Donegal.

Isaac came away with trio of Medals:

1).Third in the Under 13’s Irish National Time Trial
2). Second in the Under 13’s Ulster Road Race
3). Second in the Under 13’s Ulster Time Trial

Well done Isaac, we are very proud of you!
