From cold early morning starts to mastering stubborn chairlifts and tackling icy slopes, everyone pushed past their limits. Those once intimidating black runs became badges of honour—successfully navigated with determination, laughs, and a whole lot of mountain spirit.

Open Afternoon

Our re-scheduled Open Afternoon on Wednesday 14th January was a tremendous success, filled with energy, curiosity, and a strong sense of community. Whether exploring classrooms, speaking with staff, and seeing pupils proudly share their learning - it was a school day with a difference! We were delighted to meet new faces and some familiar ones but hope that everyone who attended had a beneficial time and we look forward to welcoming new families into our school community.

Year 8 Girls Festival of Sport – House Competition

The Year 8 House Festival of Sport was delivered in partnership with the PE department and our Year 14 BTEC Sport students as part of their Unit 10 module, Sports Event Organisation.

All Year 8 girls took part in the festival on Monday 12th January, enjoying a full afternoon of competitive and inclusive sport.

The event began with a cross-country run in Sixmile Park, after which students chose to represent their house in either football or rugby, competing for valuable points towards the school house system.

The festival took place in cold but dry conditions and showcased excellent effort, sportsmanship, and house spirit throughout.
