Overview
Our educational system must equip young people with the skills necessary to cope with everyday life after school. In that context one of the most important life skills is the ability to cope with road and driving conditions as they exist in Northern Ireland today.
Course Content
The course will instil a greater knowledge and awareness of road safety.
A good grade in this subject will be accepted by most employers. The Northern Ireland Civil Service accepts a grade ‘C’ pass in this subject as one of the 5 passes required for entry to the Civil Service. The Association of British Insurers has also indicated that a pass in Road Traffic Studies would be particularly useful for potential employees in their field.
All information gathered during the course will be invaluable for the theory and hazard perceptions tests that are now required before taking the driving test.
