Last weekend, Year 8 pupil Zach C. won the Irish Age Band Event, earning the title of Irish Weightlifting Champion. This prestigious competition required qualification, and Zach rose to the occasion with an outstanding performance. Despite sustaining a knee injury just two weeks prior, he trained intelligently around it and delivered an exceptional showing on the day - achieving two personal best lifts! Well done Zach!
