The AS course builds on knowledge, understanding and academic skills developed within GCSE Religious Studies.
Entry requirements for Religious Studies
Grade B or above in one of the following subjects:
- GCSE Religious Studies (Full course)
- GCSE Religious Studies (Short course) following the successful completion of an interview
GCE Religious Studies has two levels – AS and A2.
AS Level consists of two papers.
The two units studied are –
- An Introduction to the Acts of the Apostles
- The Origins and Development of the Early Christian Church to AD325
A2 Level consists of two papers.
The two units studied are –
- Themes in Selected Letters of St. Paul
- Themes in the Early Church and the Church Today
