Last Friday, Miss Bishop’s King’s Trust class had an action-packed trip to Lasertag!
The visit linked perfectly with their recent learning about teamwork, communication and representing themselves positively. Students worked brilliantly together, showed fantastic behaviour throughout, and demonstrated the skills they’ve been developing in class.
A great day out with lots of fun had by all!

Last Tuesday, Year 12 students collected their mock results, marking an important milestone in their GCSE studies. The results provided a clear snapshot of their academic development so far and helped highlight next steps as they prepare for Year 13 and future pathways. Teachers and tutors supported students with advice on study skills, subject choices, and strategies to strengthen performance in upcoming assessments.

Yesterday our Year 11 students received their mock exam results, giving them a valuable insight into their current progress ahead of GCSEs. This offered an opportunity to reflect on strengths, identify areas for improvement, and set clear goals for the months ahead.

This week, students in Years 9 and 10 took part in inspiring and thought provoking sessions delivered by Made For More, a charity dedicated to educating and empowering young people.
Year 10 engaged in a powerful workshop on Drugs Awareness, exploring the risks, consequences, and pressures surrounding substance misuse. The session encouraged students to make informed, positive choices and reinforced the importance of looking after their physical and mental wellbeing.
Meanwhile, Year 9 took part in an impactful programme focused on Anti Bullying. Through real life stories and interactive discussions, students were challenged to consider the effects of bullying, the importance of empathy, and the role each person plays in creating a safe and respectful school community.
