Last weekend, 14th December, Molly competed at the Northern Ireland Championships and claimed the title of Northern Ireland Champion for the second consecutive year!

From Larne to Loanends and Carrickfergus to Kells, we look forward to welcoming pupils from almost 50 feeder primary schools into Year 8 every academic year. Logan (Year 8) shone as Kevin McAllister in NISMAT’s production of Home Alone: The Musical! Two sets of shows done, and now it’s on to A Christmas Carol with Fortwilliam Musical Society at The Courtyard Theatre this week. He’ll be performing as Jonathan on Thursday night and in both shows on Saturday.
On Tuesday this week, Year 8 pupils were brought together to enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner and celebrate the end of Year 8 Induction at BSS. It’s the perfect chance to share laughter, good food, and festive cheer with friends and teachers.

Letter from the Acting Principal- Winter Months
We are really looking forward to the Year 8 Christmas Dinner, which will be provided free of charge on Tuesday 2nd December 2025. To help us celebrate in style, pupils are invited to wear a Christmas jumper on the day (there is no need to wear their blazer). This will be a lovely occasion with plenty of festive cheer, and we hope the pupils enjoy a bit of Christmas spirit together. Please note that school buses will be available at 2:55pm as usual.
