On the 28th September we held a very special assembly to celebrate the success of our Forget Fossil Kitcar Team who travelled to Aintree earlier in the month to compete in the Greenpower Educational Trust regional heat. It was previously reported that our team came 4th overall, however, we were delighted when the race officials contacted us to say that the team were in fact placed 3rd so earned a spot on the podium! Very well done to the team!
Congratulations to Luke Agnew (10M) who just completed the Motorsport Ireland championship, where he was placed 2nd! This has gained him a place at the World Finals in Portugal, which take place in October. This is a massive achievement as he competed against a grid of 29 karts over 9 races throughout the year at various tracks in Ireland. Well done Luke!

We have recycled glass jars, repurposed nail varnish and reused old ribbons to make floral displays. These displays were used as decorations at the MacMillan Coffee morning generating funds for a fantastic charity.
