Pupil Spotlight - William Currie

William Currie is one of our Year 10 pupils and has been playing the bagpipes since P7. He says that his love of the pipes comes from his grandfather who has been teaching him ever since he ignited the passion at that young age. William has played for Cullybackey Pipe Band since Year 8 and has travelled to many places including New Ross and Glasgow.

Over the years, William has performed for the school at a number of events and more recently played in the Ballymoney charity tattoo at the start of the Easter holidays. He then played at a concert in Cookstown but tomorrow, he will be playing in the SSE Arena on stage with Andre Rieu!

We are so proud of you William and want to wish you all the very best for the performance tomorrow.
