Overview:

In this course you will develop an understanding of the business environment and your role within it. You will also look at key functional areas of the business such as customer service, marketing, accounting, human resources as well as project management. This course will seek to build foundations of business knowledge which you can take into areas of higher education, apprenticeship or the world of work. These focused qualifications meet the DFE’s technical guidance for mandatory content and external assessment. The centre assessed units include practical and wider project-based assessment opportunities, as well as Cambridge OCR visiting moderation providing centre feedback and support. This level 3 qualification will award students UCAS points for use in applying to university and is equivalent to one A level.

Pupils meeting the criteria to gain a place in Sixth Form can access this course.

Grade C or above in GCSE Maths.

Some background in Business would be preferable.
